Beverly Hills Premiere

Beverly Hills Fashion Festival, the fashion event from the producers of Downtown L.A. Fashion Week, bowed on Nov. 6 with a series of runway shows that included well-known labels as well as new names. The event featured pop-up shops—including Custo Barcelona, Gypsy 05 and Young Fabulous & Broke—plenty of perks and pampering, and a glam carnival atmosphere under a giant tent next to the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills.

The event was open to the public, who had a chance to buy general-admission tickets or VIP passes, and each runway show raised funds and awareness for a different charitable organization. Organizers Barbara Graff and Leanna Lewis said they plan to host the event biannually.

Here are highlights from the event, which included runway shows by Elie Tahari, Teresa Rosati, William Rast and the H. Lorenzo boutique, which included Olima Atelier, Michel Berandi and Skingraft. For more from each runway show, click here.—Alison A. Nieder
