Vanity#039;s Charity Project
Fargo, N.D.–based teen retail chain Vanity has teamed up with pop band OneRepublic for a promotion, called Share the Secret About Hunger, which will benefit Feeding America’s efforts to fight hunger. During the six-week promotion, Vanity stores will collect non-perishable food donations and will be the exclusive seller of OneRepublic’s “Waking Up” CD. All proceeds from the sale of the CDs will be donated to Feeding America, and each CD sold will help provide about 21 meals. Founded 40 years ago, Vanity currently operates 185 stores in 26 states.
