Moore in at Reef
VF Corp., owner of the Carlsbad, Calif.–based Reef brand of surf sandals and swimwear, went in-house with its pick for a new president. In July, Jim Gerson, Reef’s president, stepped down after a year in the post to accept a job as president of Warnaco’s swim division. His replacement, VF announced, is Jeff Moore, the former vice president of sales for Vans—another VF brand.
Moore assumes the job immediately and reports to Eric Wiseman, VF’s chairman, president and chief executive officer.
“Jeff is a proven leader with exceptionally strong business management skills,” Wiseman said in a statement. “Working with a very talented team at our Reef brand, I am confident that he will continue to drive the brand’s momentum.”—Erin Barajas
