Hot Topic Board
Juniors retailer Hot Topic is beefing up its board of directors. It has added two new members, which will bring the number of directors to nine, up from seven. The new members are Steven Becker and Matthew Drapkin, both principals in Becker Drapkin Management, a small-cap investment fund launched in Dallas six years ago. Becker will serve as a member of the compensation committee. Drapkin will be a member of the governance and nominating committee.
