You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile

Gen Art is teaming up with toothpaste brand Crest for a design competition inspired by Crest’s new product: 3D White.

The “Little White Wardrobe” design competition to decide who gets to showcase their capsule collection at the Gen Art New Garde fashion show at New York Fashion Week in February. Three finalists will get to show their sketches based on the theme, but only one will receive a $5,000 stipend to put it in production and show it on the runway in New York.

To be considered, you have to show five-to 10 sketches of complete looks for a capsule collection that should have a variety of items, including pants, skirts, tops, dresses.

The collection must be primarily white but contestants can use blues, purples and silver as accent colors. Red, gold, yellow, brown, orange or any colors that resemble them are not allowed. And all design submissions must adhere to the following inspirational words and phrases: “3D White,” “Glamorous,'” “Brightens and Whitens,” ’Dazzling,” “Stand-Out Moment,” “Radiance,” “Brightening,” “Shine,” and “Little White Dress.”

While the primary color of your collection must be white - if you would like to use any other colors they should be in the family of blues, purples and silver.
