Agenda Trade Show Returns to CMC

Agenda, producers of the eponymous action sports/streetwear trade show and showroom, is returning to the California Market Center and will take up residence in the building’s newly revamped “Area 4” fourth floor.

“We had our first office there years ago,” said Aaron Levant, founder of Agenda. “We’re excited to be moving our U.S. headquarters back to the CMC.” Agenda's offices are currently in Hollywood.

The move back from Hollywood makes sense for a variety of reasons, Levant said. “It is important to be downtown, in the mix. It’s the hub of activity, and being in the CMC will allow us to more easily participate in markets and meet with our clients more frequently.”

Agenda—which represents brands such as Freshjive, The 7th Letter, DCMA Collective and Altamont—will occupy the B413 suite, an anchor space of about 4,000 square feet.“The CMC is so excited to have Agenda back in the building,” said Audrey Okulick, the building’s marketing and public relations manager. “We think they will be a great addition for the floor and bring a cool, edgy vibe that is a complement to the brands and showrooms that are already in Area 4.”

Jason Bates, producer of the Class trade show and owner of the Derelicte showroom, moved into Area 4 last year. Other Area 4 tenants include the William Rast showroom and the Primitives Showroom.

Agenda will continue to host its trade shows offsite. The most recent Agenda trade show was the NewYork edition, held Jan. 17–18 at the Chelsea Art Museum. The next West Coast Agenda show will be held Aug. 3–4 at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach, Calif.—Erin Barajas
