All-Star NBA Event Gets Fashionable
This weekend, downtown Los Angeles will be packed with die-hard basketball fans ready to see their favorites playing in the various events that culminate with the NBA All-Star Game at the Staples Center this Sunday.
Even fashion is making an appearance. On Thursday night, the slightly eccentric Jackie Christie, who is married to retired basketball player Doug Christie, will be showing off her Winter 2011 collection along with fashions by Lamar Odom, the Laker who has gotten creative with T-shirts and is married to Khloe Kardashian. Another fashion creator, Laker star Matt Barnes, will present looks from his label. Their designs will hit the catwalk at a fundraising event called the All-Star Fashion Nite Tip-Off at Boulevard3 in Hollywood.
I think to be a model for this event you might have to be extra tall.
