Macy#039;s Next Designer
Milan-born Kinder Aggugini describes his style as Sid Vicious meets Coco Chanel. His reacute;sumeacute; lists gigs with Calvin Klein, John Galliano and Vivienne Westwood. On Feb. 15, Macy’s released a capsule line called “Kinder Aggugini for Impulse.” It will be carried at 225 Macy’s stores. The womenswear line features tailored leather, boucleacute; jackets and silk shorts. Retail price points range from $40 to $140 and up to $300 for specialty pieces. Macy’s will announce more designer capsule collections later this year. Aggugini is the first international designer to take part in Macy’s new fashion initiative.
