Hampshire Group Acquires Rio
New York–based Hampshire Group Ltd. struck a deal to acquire Honduras-based Rio Garment S. de R.L. for an aggregate purchase price of up to $23 million in cash and stock. Founded in 2006, Rio is a full-package provider of knit tops for U.S. retailers and distributors.
