Penthouse Fashion Show at the California Market Center

Looks from Musani Couture

Los Angeles Fashion Market is not only about buying, but also about looking, and then buying.

Right in the middle of Los Angeles Fashion Market Week, the California Market Center gathered up some fashions from their showrooms and put on a Contemporary Collections runway show in the penthouse area on the 13th floor. It was a casual setting where organic wine was served and sandwiches handed out to the hungry.

The looks varied from cool casual to glitzy evening wear. Dominating the glitzy category was Musani Couture, with all sorts of beaded and lace dresses that sparkled under the track lights. Iron Fist delighted with bright plaids seen in pencil skirts paired with colorful cardigans. Voom by Joy Han had beautiful minidresses with stunning graphic designs. Miilla's designs were subdued in color, whites and grays, with great silhouettes, such as a stunning skinny gray cargo pant. Nataya used airy fabrics to create dresses that seem to float.
