Ciminelli Joins Apparel News
David Ciminelli has joined the staff of California Apparel News as web editor.
Ciminelli joins the publication from The Hollywood Reporter, where he was online editor. His career includes stints at America Online; Myspace; the University of California–Los Angeles; and Regent Media, publishers of Out magazine, and its book publishing division, Alyson Books.He also served as editor in chief of In Los Angeles, a regional publication that received a West Hollywood Business Award during his tenure.
He is the author of “HomoCore: The Loud and Raucous Rise of Queer Rock,” published by Alyson Books in 2005.
“David’s extensive online editorial experience is a great fit for the web editor position,” said Alison A. Nieder, executive editor of California Apparel News.
