South Is Tops for Promotional Products

Southern buyers purchased $5.9 billion in promotional products— including T-shirts, caps and pens—in 2010, according to a recent survey published by Advantages magazine, which covers the promotional-products industry. Southern buyers led the nation in spending on promotional items, but other regions also reported strong promotional- product sales. Distributors in the Midwest sold $4.3 billion in imprinted items, distributors in Western states sold $4 billion, and Northeast distributors sold $3.1 billion in promotional products.
