Kingpins Launches '67-Second Sell' Videos on Vimeo

Boutique denim sourcing show Kingpins—which hosts editions in New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Delhi and Bangalore—launched a new video series, titled “67-Second Sell.” It was shot at the recent Los Angeles show and features Kurabo, Blue Farm, Invista, ADL, Supima, American Denim Matrix and CDY.

There’s also an overview film, called quot;From Kingpins, With Love,quot; which gives viewers an idea of the show’s environment, offerings and attendees. Organizers are planning similar videos from each national and international event that will quot;capture the unique mood of each show.quot;

Show organizers recently announced the news to its 7,000-member database.

The videos are housed on Kingpins Media’s Vimeo page (www.vimeo.com/kingpins) and on the trade show’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/thekingpinsshow).

The videos will document Kingpins’ offerings and its global expansion. Additional shows are planned for Europe, Bangladesh and India.

quot;We’re growing. Not just on the Web but around the globe with new shows, said Andrew Olah, who founded the highly curated trade show in 2004. quot;Our growth spurt means that our exhibitor and attendee base is also expanding. This represents new opportunities for everyone involved— but it also means that buyers and designers can’t necessarily attend every show. The ’67-Second Sell’ series is a great way to introduce these new shows and their unique offerings to our customers.quot;

Kingpins is organized by Olah Inc., a New York–based textile and apparel development and marketing firm that supplies U.S. manufacturers and retailers with denim, corduroy and piece-dyed fabrics. —Alison A. Nieder
