Dancing to the End

Anna Trebunskaya with Carson Kressley (Adam Taylor/ABC)

Hi Everyone,

It's elimination time again at "Dancing with the Stars."

The show started with Mary J. Blige performing one of her signature hits. She also returned later to sing her new song "Twenty- Five Eight." I'm not sure if this audience really connected with her.

Then we went back in time, at least 50 year to be exact. A singer by the name of Estelle, who's known by the hit "American Boy" with Kanye West, sang "The Twist." It was made famous by Chubby Checkers. (The original singer was Hank Ballard.)

And guess what? Chubby Checkers stepped out himself, still kicking it. But, was anybody thinking the same thing I was when I was watching him perform?

Can you imagine how many times this man has sung this song? Also, they fooled us saying that Len Goodman was going to be dancing. He just jumped on the floor to do the twist with Chubby Checkers. (Come on!)

Len Goodman picked the performance he would like to see repeated, as he does every week. He chose Chynna Phillips and her partner Tony Dovolani's sexy rumba.

Also, The Troupe (the new young extra pros) did a performance to introduce next week's theme: movie scores. They performed to the theme from "Gone with the Wind." (Welcome back to Tara.)

They started to announce the celebrities that were going to be safe to dance another day. Everyone was very surprised that Chaz Bono wasn't in jeopardy, since he had the lowest score. But apparently he has a loyal fan base. (Or there's some shenanigans going on?)

Also, the big news is that his mom, the star icon Cher, tweeted that if Chaz made it through another week, she would show up to support her son. Well, everybody's on pins and needles about that one.

The final three left in jeopardy were Kristin Cavallari, Hope Solo and Carson Kressley. The first person to be saved was Carson Kressley. (Twinkle Toes gets to dance again) So, Kristin and Hope were left. Considering, that Kristin did a good samba and received her highest scores. People were upset that she was in that position.

Apparently, she doesn't have the fan base that she thought she had. So, she was the celebrity that was eliminated. I suppose she has to go back to "The Hills."

I guess there's a fan base out there who believes in KEEPING HOPE ALIVE!

Another exciting elimination night.

Keep on dancing.
