Hi, Everyone

Elimination night on DWTS! And…Chynna...does break!

The night began with a performance by Raphael Sadiq (Former member of the R B group Tony, Toni, Tone). He performed a cover of the song “Soul Man” by Sam Dave. Susan Boyle from (Britain’s “Got Talent”) performed a rendition of The Righteous Brothers’ “Unchained Melody.”

Boyle has performed in front of thousands of people and sold many, many CDs. Why did she look so scared? The vocals weren’t up to par, either. Lucky, we had some professional dancers on the floor.

During a little montage in the show, celebrities in the audience were asked what they thought about the stars previous dance performances. Why were they asking celebrities their opinion? In the past, they asked the regular voting audience members for their opinions. At least then you could get an honest opinion.

Next came a rousing dance performance from the cast of the remake of “Footloose.” (Promote! Promote!) staring Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald. Julianne is a former pro dancer with the show and two-time winner of the coveted Dancing with the Stars mirror ball. (She’s also the sister of Derek Hough.) She received a warm welcome back then joined the film’s cast for a number from the “Footloose” soundtrack sung by country star Blake Sheldon. She later returned to dance the Jive with her brother Derek to the song “Shake a Tail Feather” by The Five Du-Tones.

Finaly, we got to the countdown to determine who stays to dance another day. The last three couples left in jeopardy were Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, Nancy Grace and Tristan McManus and Chynna Phillips and Tony Dovolani.

The final decision wasn’t much of a surprise after Chynna’s bad performance the night before. Sometimes the stars have a bad dance performance and get saved for a chance to redeem themselves. But not this time. In the end, I guess the voters didn’t want her to “Hold on For One More Day!”

See ya, keep on dancing!
