ENKWSA Hires Dea for Global Sourcing

New York–based ENK International has hired David Dea as director of global sourcing for its ENKWSA trade show, held biannually in Las Vegas. Dea will oversee the trade show’s contract manufacturing, supply chain, product design and development technology exhibitors.

This is a new position for WSA and a return to the shoe show for Dea, who previously was director of sourcing for WSA. Most recently, he was vice president of business development for Nouvolution Inc., a provider of enterprise resource planning software for the apparel and footwear industries.

“Having someone of David’s caliber join us as we re-energize WSA is a tremendous boost,” said David Kahan, president of the ENK Footwear Group, in a statement. “David has an extensive background in all aspects of materials, product development, sourcing and supply-chain management and has a unique understanding of the worldwide production centers for all categories of footwear. We are already the largest footwear sourcing show in the U.S., and now David will seek to not only grow the show but to better connect with the customers who can most benefit by attending.”

The next run of ENKWSA is set for Feb. 6–8 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. For more information, visit www.enkshows.com and www.enkwsa.com.—A.A.N.
