Liquid Nation Ball: The Party!

Dancers from San Diego Dance Theater greeted Liquid Nation partygoers with a live performance.

Reef Founder Fernando Aguerre’s multi-level home overlooking the ocean in La Jolla provided perfect party grounds for the SIMA event.

Guests enjoyed live music by Suzy Skarulis and bid on exclusive surf trips, artwork and NBA memorabilia to raise funds for 13 surf-based humanitarian organizations.

A quiver of models based on Kelly Slater’s favorite boards was one of many items auctioned to raise money for the 13 different nonprofits being honored that night.
Aguerre brought back wooden houses from Southeast Asia to complement his beach home.
Aguerre also maintains one of the largest collections of vintage surfboards, including one signed by Chrissie Hynde.
Guests danced to a live DJ on a dance floor covering an indoor pool.
DJ Tina T wore a Fox Riders sweater while spinning a mix of old and new tunes, including Gaga and AC/DC.
