After making the rounds through Rome and Milan, the exhibit called "Il Teatro alla Moda", or "Theater in Fashion" will be landing in Beverly Hills, courtesy of wealthy heiress Wallis Annenberg.

This fabulous display of all things dramatic created for theater and opera is only around for one month, running from Oct. 14 to Nov. 13. It is being brought to Beverly Hills by the Wallis Annenberg Performing Arts Center. But since the performing arts center isn't quite finished yet, it will be on display in a temporary gallery at 253 N. Beverly Blvd.

For those who love both the theater and fashion, this exhibit is for you. There are more than 80 costumes, sketches and drawings from Italian greats such as Missoni, Giorgio Armani, Roberto Capucci, Fendi, Alberta Ferretti, Emanuel Ungaro, Valentino and many more. The exhibit was curated by Massimiliano Capella.

Tickets are $10 for adults and children and students are free.

Meanwhile, the Wallis Annenberg Performing Arts Center is converting an old Beverly Hills post office, (not just any post office but an Italian Renaissance-style post office) into a grand theater and display area. It is expected to open in fall 2013.
