Vans Names Quik Exec as Vice President, Apparel

Action-sports industry veteran Vicki Redding was named vice president of apparel for Santa Fe Springs, Calif.–based Vans, where she will oversee global strategy—including product design, development and merchandising—for Vans’ men’s and women’s apparel and accessories.

Redding has worked in the action-sports apparel and retail industry for more than 18 years, including 16 years at Huntington Beach, Calif.–based Quiksilver, where she began as vice president of Quiksilver Americas' boys' merchandise and design, eventually rising to senior vice president, global merchandise and design.

Most recently, Redding was senior vice president of merchandise and design for Irvine, Calif.–based La Jolla Group, directing the apparel, accessories and footwear business for O’Neill, Metal Mulisha, The Berrics, FMF and Rusty
