Now Make This Into a Jean!

Didn’t your mother tell you not to draw on your jeans? Well, jeans brand !iTEM and American Rag got a bunch of Los Angeles artists to draw, paint and graffiti on denim in a fundraiser for Elysium Project.

At a June 21 party at The Standard hotel in West Hollywood, artists such as Tanner Goldbeck, Richard Duardo and Mear One made images of everything from skulls to flowers on jeans that were taken apart, then sewn together with the artist’s images. The result? Wearable art.

Jeans were taken apart so artists could paint on them. Photo by Felix Salzman/LookBookLA.
