Bettie Page’s New Stores Strike a Pose

The Bettie Page Clothing label, which makes dresses and separates inspired by 1950s pinup queen Bettie Page, is opening stores.

Earlier this month, the Las Vegas–based company opened two stores, one on State Street in Santa Barbara, Calif., and another in Salt Lake City. The company currently runs eight stores and is looking for retail property in Miami, said Ruby Kettner, a company representative.

Category expansion is on the way, as well. Bettie Page will introduce a denim pants and shorts line in May. The line’s current retail price points range from $32 for a tank top to $160 for the most expensive dress. This year, Bettie Page’s parent company, Tatayana LLC, will debut a children’s line called Taty.—Andrew Asch
