Sure, the world is filled with great artists, but some of the best graphics could be found on any Main Street, that’s the view Jennifer Lopez’s online T-shirt company Teeology.

The Los Angeles-based Teeology launched Aug. 1, and it is where the celebrity Lopez serves as a founder and chief curator. It recently opened a contest for small business logos. The hope is to find a great, vintage Americana look, said MJ Eng, chief executive officer of Teeology. He also co-founded celeb footwear site Shoedazzle.

“We have our own stable of designers,” Eng said. “But a tiny business can represent the flavor and the texture of a local area.”

So for all of those pizzerias, plumber shops and even pest exterminators proud of a company logo, post them on Teeology’s Facebook page. If it gets enough likes, the small business logo will be entered in Teeology’s big leagues, where people from all over America will visit the T-shirt company’s website and will vote on the logo. The winning logo will be placed on one of Teeology’s luxury T-shirts which offers an entry level retail price of $20. Voting will take place in October. A winner will be announced Oct. 23.
