When Carl Louisville directed the Prada Epicenter store in Beverly Hills, he was known as the unofficial mayor of Rodeo Drive.

But Louisville blazed a new trail by opening Guerilla Atelier, a luxury boutique in downtown L.A.’s Arts District. On June 29, he held a soirée to celebrate his decision to turn the boutique, located at 821 E. 3rd St., from an experimental pop-up to a permanent shop.

“Luxury is working in downtown L.A. We’re here to stay,” he said.

Some lines offered by Guerilla Atelier include Vénus et Judes, Mister Freedom and Beckley by Melissa, and Melissa McClure Jewelry Alchemy.
