Clariant Releases Eco-Solutions for Denim
Swiss chemical company Clariant has released several new dye developments for the denim market.
Clariant’s Optisul C dyes allow denim makers to achieve soft denim colors in the continuous dye process. Available in six colors, Optisul C dyes are sulfide-free and can be combined with each other to produce a wide range of shades.
The company also partnered with Italian equipment manufacturer Tonello to develop an exhaust dyeing process that uses Clariant’s non-indigo-based Diresul RDT Indicolors to achieve an indigo look using the garment-dye process.
