Pacific Sunwear Extends Agreement With First Insight

First Insight Inc. recently announced it will extend its agreement with California surf chain Pacific Sunwear.

The Anaheim, Calif.–based sports and swimwear fashion lifestyle brand has utilized Insight’s consumer-driven analytics and strategic guidance in increasing speed-to-market with accurate design efficiency, measuring inventory buys and optimizing pricing to maximize ROI.

“Our mission is to provide retailers such as Pacific Sunwear with a fast, scalable solution that lets them leverage customer feedback and predictive analytics to make product decisions with confidence,” said Greg Petro, First Insight president and chief executive officer.

First Insight is known for providing technology solutions for specialty retailers, department stores and manufacturers.

Pacific Sunwear currently operates 638 retail stores throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. “We continue to be encouraged by the First Insight platform’s ability to provide a level of speed, scalability and predictability,” said Craig Gosselin, Pacific Sunwear senior vice president and general counsel.
