New Dates for Next LA Textile Show
The California Market Center is continuing its effort to shift the dates of its Los Angeles International Textile Show, which will host its Fall/Winter 2014/15 edition Sept. 30–Oct. 2. Traditionally, the show has been held later in October.
The most recent LA Textile show was held Feb. 25–27, several weeks earlier than usual. The date shift placed the textile show immediately following the MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas and running concurrently with the Coterie showin New York.
"As you know, that time of year is rigorous on the trade show–circuit calendar," said CMC spokesperson Alyson Bender. "We chose to host the Los Angeles International Textile Show when it would be best for our exhibitors and attendees, which happens to be Sept. 30–Oct. 2, 2013."
Bender said show organizers took into account several shows scheduled for September and October, including Coterie (Sept. 17–19), Première Vision Paris (Sept. 17–19), Las Vegas Textile Expo (Sept. 23–25), LA Majors Market (Oct.7–9), LA Fashion Market (Oct.14–17), IntertextileShanghai (Oct. 21–24) and The International Quilt Market (Oct. 26–28).
