LastaShop: Iceland Loves L.A. Fashion
Iceland is a tiny country close to the North Pole, but there is an Icelandic business community in Los Angeles, and it is making clothes.
One of the hubs of this community is LastaShop, an e-commerce boutique which works with Icelandic designers and produces their fashions in Los Angeles, according to a statement from the shop. Some of the looks include the colorful leggings of the Mundi label, the minidresses of the Helicopter label and the office and cocktail styles of Birna. Falleg! (It means beautiful in Icelandic.)
