Vince Relaunches Web Site With Story About Melrose Place

Vince is undergoing a renovation since it became a publicly traded clothing company and has a new president, Jill Granoff.

To show off its new independence, the contemporary line founded in Los Angeles a dozen years ago has launched a new website that talks up some of the hot neighborhoods where its stores are located.

One of those top spots is Melrose Place, the oh-so-fab shopping area off Melrose Avenue. To highlight the hot spots of Melrose Place, it tapped locals and Melrose regulars to talk about where they hang out and some of their favorite things.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art's outdoor urban light display is very popular as well as the Palihotel on Melrose Avenue and the hotel's The Hart and the Hunter restaurant.

Apparently a favorite spot for haircuts is the iconic Shorty's Barber Shop on Fairfax Avenue, frequented by both men and women.
