The Pre-Spring Sale Will Never Die

The world of retail is rapidly changing, but one practice of the business hasn’t changed; the pre-spring sale.

Prominent boutique chain Kitson is hosting its delicately named “Big Ass Sale” until March 2 at its original location at 115 S. Robertson Blvd. in Los Angeles. Select items from women’s, men’s and kid’s clothes categories will be marked down 50 to 80 percent, said Kitson founder Fraser Ross.

“It’s just spring cleaning,” Ross said. “The bigger we get the more stuff we have.” Kitson recently opened a store at the Glendale Galleria mall in Glendale, Calif., as well as shops in San Diego, Portland, Ore., and the Tom Bradley Terminal of Los Angeles International Airport.

Kin, a contemporary and designer boutique, will host a “BlowOut Parking Lot Sale" March 1 – 2 at its West Hollywood store, which is located at 8555 W. Sunset Blvd.
