It’s Fourth of July this week. Do you know what that means?

Beach cleanups! At least if you are in San Diego.

People from Ocean Minded, an environmentally-friendly footwear label, Sun Diego, a surf and skate retailer, and Surfrider Foundation will participate in Morning After Mess, a beach cleanup scheduled from 8 to 11 am at San Diego beaches; Ocean Beach Pier, Belmont Park in Mission Beach, Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach and Oceanside Pier

It’s an annual event, in 2013 the Morning After Mess removed 2,373 pounds of trash and 195 points of recycling.
