The motto for the party at Venice Beach gallery Nouvelle Vague was Boobies, Bikinis & Beer, but the reason for the party was quite serious.

On June 3, swimwear brand Calavera debuted a capsule collection Calavera X Kim Saigh X Keep A Breast Foundation to raise funds for breast cancer research and education.

Calavera is best known for mixing fashion and sturdy swimwear that a woman can wear surfing. Kim Saigh is a tattoo artist who has starred on reality show LA Ink, which stopped producing episodes in 2011. Keep A Breast is a non-profit which focuses on action sports lifestyle and art to raise funds for breast cancer research and education.

Calavera designed several silhouettes, including a leotard, for the capsule. Saigh crafted a rose/floral pattern for the swimwear. Calavera Founder Anna Jerstrom said that her brand would donate half of the capsule collection’s profits to Keep A Breast. It will be available at at Calavera’s e-commerce shop and at Without Walls.
