St Regis Bespoke BeachCandy Swimwear

Designer Brit Barber has been representing a different bespoke suit; the custom made swim suit, 60 percent of the suits made at her BeachCandy label, headquartered in Corona Del Mar, Calif., are made-to-measure bikinis and maillots.

This month Barber will be debuting a collaboration capsule collection of custom swim suits with St. Regis Monarch Beach, a Forbes Five-Star resort in South Orange County where the exclusive Surf Industry Manufacturers Association's Annual Waterman’s Weekend takes place.

The bikinis and one-pieces will only be available at the St. Regis Barber said. “The collection will be inspired by the sophisticated, traveling woman,” she said. The custom swimwear will offer a luxe look. The suit’s neck is lined with Swarovski crystals made in the colors of the St. Regis; gold and black.

The St Regis suits also are meant to last a lifetime. The suits are double lined with an American-made elastic that does not stretch out, Barber said. There is no bagginess in the suit and it lifts and supports. It also is functional swimwear; the wearer can swim in it, Barber said. Retail price points range from $95 to $390. The bespoke suits will be available at The St. Regis’ Spa Gaucin boutique. They also can be ordered from the boutique.

"This custom swimsuit line is another example of how we are giving our clientele a bespoke, five-star experience they won't find anywhere else," Joe Martino, Director of Sales and Marketing for The St. Regis Monarch Beach, said in a statement.
