Rejoice Ron Robinson fans! The pioneering boutique in the Fred Segal compound on Los Angeles’ Melrose Avenue unveiled a major expansion in early May, and it will be a big treat for accessories mavens, kids and tweens.

Earlier this year, veteran retailer and Ron Robinson neighbor, Bob Serf, retired, and Robinson acquired a sprawling 2,000-square-feet of space. With the new real estate, Robinson built an accessories hallway, filled with one-of-a-kind fashions. For those needing something stylish to cover their heads, the accessories hall features work by Los Angeles-based Milliner Gladys Tamez. Also in the hallway is Elizabeth Weinstock’s accessories, think snakeskin boxing gloves, travel valets, passport envelopes, as well as vegan leather bags from Mat & Nat.

The new shop for kids features a custom wallpaper called Butterfly Walk, which was created by Christian Lacroix Papier, a venture by the Celebrated Designer Christian Lacroix. This new shop features labels such as Scotch & Soda for kids, Zadig & Voltaire, Stella McCartney, Joe’s Jeans, as well as Vans, Converse and Birkenstocks.

Look out for more activewear at Ron Robinson. There’s Cotton Citizen, Lucas Hugh; Robinson has the exclusive on the West Coast from this label made by an alum of the Alexander McQueen label. There’s also new brands such as Out from Newport Beach, VPL and Live the Process, sold only at Ron Robinson and Barney’s.
