Ann Taylor's Spring/Summer Collection for 2015
Ann Taylor recently unveiled its Spring/Summer merchandise at a big event in New York City.
Creative Director Lisa Axelson noted that the looks were strong on bohemian influences, floral gardens and lace, like many of the designs we saw at Los Angeles Fashion Week. Axelson also played up the black-and-white color palette, which always has an au courant appeal.
Outside of lace, which was used to trim tops and skirts, the overall collection has a clean, sleek look to it with lots of chambray blues to evoke that feel of spring. Sweaters come in long tunic styles as well as low-to-high profiles. The floral prints have a summer garden feel to them that is very light.
