Project Ethos’ LAFW Show

As of Thursday, October 23, 2014

Project Ethos mixed sizzle and good works at its LA Fashion Week show, all of which took a bow at the Avalon Hollywood club.

The night was headlined by a presentation of the fashions of Nicole Miller. The veteran designer gained renown more than 30-years ago for her bridal dresses. But she designs a wealth of other looks ranging past contemporary and eveningwear.

The LAFW Edition of Project Ethos also offered looks from emerging designers, DJ music, bands, live art and a call to raise funds for cancer research. Designers were encouraged to promote an online donation page for the organization Stand Up To Cancer on their pages on the Project Ethos website.

Emerging designers which exhibited at the show were Chynni, MS Scandal, Isabel Vianey, Amour Swimwear, Ashley Michaelsen and Oober Swank.

For more good works, Project Ethos also introduced its first annual Fashion Designer Scholarship for graduating seniors for the fashion merchandising program at California State University, Long Beach. Jennifer Luong was named the recipient of the first scholarship. Check out a few looks from the Project Ethos LAFW show.
