The tailored basics from A.P.C. have long been on the radar screen of style savvy people in Los Angeles, and the French brand opened a boutique on Melrose Place in West Hollywood this summer. The shop finally got to the business of producing a debut party at its Melrose Place boutique on Oct. 23.

Kanye West dropped by the party. Other celebs seen at the shindig were Roman Coppola, film director and screenwriter of 2012 film Moonrise Kingdom, and Waris Ahluwalia of House of Waris.

They joined A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou for fig crossinis with goat cheese and mint, flourless chocolate cake and music by Charlie Eisner and Troy Von Balthazar. Next up, A.P.C., opens shops in downtown Los Angeles and the city’s Silver Lake neighborhood in 2015.
