Uniqlo's Collab Comeback

Don’t you just love a second chance?

When Uniqlo opened in New York in 2011, one of its exclusive and limited–edition collections was its + J collection designed by Jil Sander.

New Yorkers—and visitors to the city, like me—snatched up the well-priced collection of minimalist pieces in wool, cashmere and cotton.

For those who missed out (or didn’t get enough), Uniqlo is offering a second chance to pick up some of the most popular pieces from the +J line beginning in October—just in time for the opening of the Uniqlo stores in Southern California.

Pieces will cost between $39.90 - $229.90, according to Fashionista, where I first read the news. (The Fashionista story has a slideshow with some of the pieces—including one of the images above.) The collection officially bows at select stores and online on Oct. 10.

The re-launch is due to “overwhelming customer demand,” according to Uniqlo, which is promising the re-launch will include “even more great pieces and carefully selected items” than the original collection.

Sweet.
