Textile Show Starts on Monday
The Los Angeles International Textile Show gets underway on Sept. 29 at the California Market Center.
You may have noticed some textile trends pieces we're run recently here, here and here.
I've been gathering fabric samples from several companies, but the winner for best use of nostalgia goes to Portland, Ore.based Pine Crest Fabrics.
The company is known for their whimsical prints, but this season the company's designers got their '80s on with spot-on splatter prints, lightening bolts and lip patterns. And no 80s print hommage would be without the required unicorn print. Pine Crest's comes with hearts, rainbows and shooting stars.
