A List Sample Sales’ New Home

After more than a decade of doing pop-up shops and fashion events in backyards, Caroline Bray’s A List Sample Sale has found a permanent home.

Bray, a former model who reportedly appeared on a few California Apparel News covers, moved into a 1,300-square-foot space at high rise, strip mall, Marsel Plaza, on 1080 S. La Cienega Blvd., in suite 207, between Olympic and Pico boulevards.

The reason for the permanent address, Bray said that fashion events in backyards, even with designer clothes, often looked too garage sale. It definitely was not the right backdrop for her high end designer clothing from labels such as Balmain, Prada, Fendi, Isabel Marant and contemporary labels such as Iro and Haute Hippie.

Bray gets some of her inventory by cleaning out the closets of socialite types and reselling new and often unworn clothing, sometimes at 70 percent off. Bray’s next move? Probably venturing into e-commerce.
