It’s a new year, and for the notorious GGeisha, flipping the calendar means a new party.

GGeisha’s new shindig is Underbelly. It went off at General Lee’s in L.A.’s Chinatown on Jan. 15. She calls it a monthly congregation of Los Angeles’ underground fashion syndicate. At upcoming Underbelly parties, there’s gonna be fashion installations, DJS, (DJ Hoodss was among the crew providing sounds for the debut on Jan. 15,) but this party’s special essence is making a home for the Los Angeles fashion underground.

“It’s all about where freaky people can come and hang out with other freaky people,” she said. Yes!

If GGeisha’s Dripped party doesn’t bring anything up on your radar screen, she has produced the Dripped fashion parties/markets for the past few years. Typically the Dripped parties are a little bit a DJ music, a little bit of seeing friends, and shopping for underground fashion labels.

While the next Dripped is scheduled to take place around the ides of March (March 15-18, Shakespeare lovers), the next Underbelly is set to go on probably around Feb. 12. The theme of the party? Scorned Lovers. For more information, contact Staydripped.com
