Forever 21 to Open All Day Thanksgiving
All sorts of announcements are going out there about stores opening their doors after everyone has polished off their turkey dinner on Thanksgiving.
Yet, no big press releases have come down from Forever 21 about their Turkey Day plans. In the past, those Forever 21 stores not attached to a mall or a major shopping center have opened at 9 a.m.on Thanksgiving and pretty much worked around the clock without stopping until late Black Friday evening.
That schedule is pretty much in effect this year. A staffer at the Hollywood & Highland store confirmed they would be opening at 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving. That's a little better than last year when the outpost opened at 9 a.m. "If you come by, bring us some turkey," the staffer said.
With its early hours, Forever 21 is advancing the clock on such stores as Target, Macy's, Kohl's and Wal-Mart, which open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving or Old Navy, which opens its doors at 4 p.m. The winner in the shopping hour contest is Kmart, which opens at 6 a.m.
