Footaction Coming to DTLA
South Broadway in downtown Los Angeles is becoming the retail spot to be.
With plans to one day build a streetcar that goes down Broadway loops around between 1st and 11th streets, many retailers have been jumping on the train to get a prime spot along the corridor.
The latest to put down stakes is Footaction, which is taking over a dilapidated and sad looking spot once occupied by the Blue Jeans Clothing store at 749 S. Broadway.
The new store, whose parent company is Foot Locker Inc., will be big competition to another new store next door, Shiekh Shoes, at 745 S. Broadway.
Also on that side of the street as Footaction is The Gap Factory outlet and Ross Dress for Less.
