Los Angeles–based swimwear brand Lee+Lani debuted its 2017 line at a runway show on July 15 at Funkshion Fashion Week during Miami Swim Week. The brand’s signature lingerie-inspired designs were adorned with lace and geometric, tribal-influenced cut-outs for the new season. These sleek, black-and-white suits were styled with sheer chiffon bomber jackets and tunics.

For its Spring collection, designers Lisa Marie Pascuccio and Alana Ault seemed to be paying homage to the glittering, neon-drenched ’80s, while adding a rock ’n’ roll edge. Suits featured high-cut bottoms and mesh fabrics complementing bold oranges and aquamarine accents. Playful, colorful bikinis and one-pieces—imprinted with piano keys, sequined guitars and lightning rods—were some of the racier designs exposing copious amounts of skin.
