Van’s 50th – Cake, Music, Shoes!
Vans, headquartered in Cypress, Calif., celebrated its 50th anniversary this week with concerts and parties across the globe. Stateside, we saw Steve Van Doren, son of the brand’s co founder and current VP of events and promotions – take in the brand’s birthday cake (looked like Van’s shoeboxes!), as well as performances from music stars Nas and Erykah Badu at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Van’s 50th party started in February at high end sneaker stores. Check out the recently released Vans Pro Classics 50th Anniversary Collection and the Vans Vault Checkered Past Collection.
