Kymm Swank, a self-taught artist living in Los Angeles, recently had her debut opening of her “Central Ave” collection at the Wallspace gallery (607 North La Brea Ave, Los Angeles). The collection features acrylic, spray paint and resin on wood. The beautiful and colorful pieces are reminiscent of ‘60s Pop Art and LP cover graphics yet they are modern and timeless. The designs could easily be translated to fabric and wallpaper prints. Her paintings has been seen on the sets of numerous TV shows including “The Newsroom,” “American Horror Story” and “Mad Men.”

The Oct. 28 opening brought in enthusiastic fans of Swank’s from the art and fashion worlds, as well as photographers and art lovers who were captivated by the vibrancy of Swank’s paintings.
