The scene: A veritable who's who of the fashion industry turned out for 4th Annual Economic Crystal Ball event, sponsored by Wells Fargo Capital Finance and Avery Dennison Inc.

Eugenio J. Aleman, senior economist for Wells Capital Management served as keynote speaker, discussing "Current economic issues affecting future business decisions."

Special guest speaker Marshal Cohen, managing partner with NPD Group, discussed "Retailing in Today's World."

Kevin Sullivan, executive vice president of Wells Fargo Capital Finance, moderated a panel that included Stuart Brister, chief executive officer and president of Wells Fargo Capital Finance, who discussed "Analyzing the current state of credit," and R. Shawn Neville, group vice president of Avery Dennison, who discussed "Elevating Brands and Accelerating Performance."
