An arbitration panel found in favor of Cherokee in the dispute between the Van Nuysbased licensing firm and Mossimo Inc. The dispute was over certain fees involved in a deal that Cherokee brokered between Mossimo and Minnesota-based Target. The arbitration award stipulated that Mossimo pay Cherokee the previously negotiated finder’s fee, interest on all money withheld and Cherokee’s attorneys’ fees.
