First Paris, then New York and now Tokyo. Workshop Salons, producers of trade show Workshop NY, has partnered with Japanese trade show International Fashion Fair to bring international designers to the biannual IFF shows in Tokyo. The IFF shows, in January and July, feature women’s and men’s apparel and accessories. Workshop Salons will bring about 30 designers to show at IFF in January. To kick off the partnership, Workshop NY featured an exhibition of student designs from Tokyo’s Bunka Fashion College during the show’s Sept. 24–30 run in New York’s Metropolitan Pavilion.
