Mitch Cohen, senior vice president and Western regional manager at CIT Commercial Ser vices in Los Angeles, has been promoted to executive vice president and Western regional manager.

Before joining CIT in 1993, Cohen was a senior vice president for the Bank of Newport. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president with Mitsui Manufacturers Bank.

Cohen started his career with CIT in 1975 in New York.
