Jamison Buys Pair of LAX-Area Buildings

California Market Center owner Jamison Properties of Los Angeles has added another acquisition to its portfolio with the purchase of the Grand Avenue Plaza, an 82,000-square-foot office complex near the Los Angeles International Airport.

Jamison paid $13.4 million for the property, acquired from Arden Realty, according to Grubb & Ellis real estate. The complex includes two buildings and is 99 percent leased. The properties are at 1970 and 1990 E. Grand Ave., located in a busy business corridor just south of LAX.

Jamison owns more than 22 million square feet of space, including the 3-million-square-foot CMC, located in Los Angeles. —Robert McAllister
